Les Bienheureux is a French production company founded in 2014 by entrepreneurs Jean Moueix and Alexandre Sirech, which quickly established itself in the spirits world thanks to its highly innovative and avant-garde vision. The initial idea was to create a top-quality French whisky that could rival the great Scotch, Japanese and US whiskies, but over time Les Bienheureux has also embraced the production and marketing of gin, rum and other spirits. Today, Jean and Alexandre's aim is to offer spirits of excellence in each type, some of them even produced outside national borders, as in the case of Rum 'Pura Vida', distilled and aged in Costa Rica and then finished in France in ex-Cognac casks.
In addition to high product quality, the philosophy of Les Bienheureux is geared towards respect for the environment and people. Only high quality raw materials are used for the production of its spirits, such as for the Gin 'L'Acrobate', made from grain alcohol, pure water and various organically grown botanicals, including juniper berries, coriander, yuzu, Timur berries, spirulina, mandarin, ginger and cinnamon. Whisky, on the other hand, is produced from pure malt, both peated and unpeated, and then undergoes long ageing in oak barrels, mostly from France. The sugar cane used for rums is grown in the hot and humid climate of the Caribbean and after a suitable period of maturation in wood in the same tropical environment, these spirits are finished in ex-Cognac casks in the continental climate of France.
The brands marketed by the French company Les Bienheureux are diverse, each one at the top of quality in its respective category, be it 'Bellevoye' Whisky, Costa Rican Rum 'Pura Vida' or Gin 'L'Acrobate'. Other brands include Brazilian Cachaca 'Parati', Guatemalan Rum 'Mama Quilla', Costa Rican Rum 'Embargo' and French Whisky 'Beauchamp'. As evidence of their high quality value, these labels have won numerous awards and accolades over the years, both nationally and internationally.
