Cartoixa Vermell 'CX' Partida Creus

Cartoixa Vermell "CX" Partida Creus was born in Bonastre in Catalonia, an area considered ideal for the production of quality wines, thanks in part to the presence of old native vines of inestimable quality. Antonella and Massimo Marchiori who decided to leave the Piedmontese land in favor of the Spanish one, giving birth to their working reality of artisanal wine production. The work philosophy is aimed at respecting the ecosystem surrounding the vineyards and the varieties of flora and fauna already present in the area, all so that the vines can develop and grow in the best possible way. They have also started a program to recover old grape varieties to ensure wines of rare quality.

The Cartoixa Vermell "CX" Partida Creus vineyards grow on soils composed mainly of clay, sand, gravel and limestone for wines with a strong and balanced character. The grapes are grown entirely following the dictates of the biodynamic regime and the phases of the moon to ensure natural and complete development before harvest; in the vineyard, human intervention is reduced to a minimum with only the help of animals that benefit the growth of the plants. Once the harvest is completed, alcoholic fermentation takes place thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts in steel, where the must rests for an additional 7 months to complete aging.

Cartoixa Vermell "CX" Partida Creus presents itself in the glass of a deep pink with brilliant reflections. The bouquet of aromas is reminiscent of white flowers, citrus fruits and Mediterranean herbs; in the mouth it is energetic, drinkable and fresh with a good overall balance that entices drinking. Recommended with sushi and sashimi, fish tartare and smoked salmon; also excellent with fresh cheeses. A wine for lighthearted aperitifs at gatherings with friends in summer or for evenings devoted to oriental cuisine to enjoy in the glass the genuine flavors of a land of many potentials.
