The Franciacorta Rosé by Montina is a sparkling rosé that faithfully reflects the elegance of Pinot Noir and the soft character of Chardonnay. It is refined on the lees for about 62 months and thus releases delicate aromas of rose, strawberry and cherry with references to the spicy world. Perfectly corrispondence, it reveals an enveloping and velvety structure, rich and pleasant, energized by a seductive freshness
Montina's Extra Brut Rosé Franciacorta is a bubbly that announces itself with a full and smooth drink, in which it is the Pinot Noir that gives structure and fruity scents to the nose. A bottle that always plays the leading role, both in informal aperitifs and on more important occasions, as also confirmed by the interesting scores recognized by the main Italian wine guides. The label to always have on hand when the first spring suns allow toasting in the open air.
Franciacorta Rosé Extra Brut comes from the successful blending of two international grape varieties that, when united in the bubbles, are always able to give rise to products of great quality, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. In particular, it is Pinot Noir that forms the backbone of the blend, accounting for 85 percent of the wine's total mass. The vines of these two varieties are carefully cultivated by the Montina team, and the grapes, once harvested, are softly pressed and then begin fermentation. The second fermentation, as per the provisions for the production of Metodo Classico, takes place in the bottle, where the wine then remains to age on the lees for 62 months, a period at the end of which the disgorging, dosage and bottling operations are carried out.
This Rosé Extra Brut is a Franciacorta that, on visual examination, has a typically cherry color, crossed by light reflections that tend toward salmon. The perlage is characterized by a dense and persistent texture. The aromas that envelop the nose are subtle and elegant, presenting floral and fruity notes, enriched by a light touch of lavender and sweet spices. On the palate it is medium-bodied, fine, with a slender sip, marked by a pleasant freshness. A signature bubbly from the La Montina winery that goes well with appetizers and first courses!
