GIN 'RANGPUR LIME' TANQUERAY - 100CL DESCRIPTION

The history of Tanqueray begins in 1830, when Charles Tanqueray embarked on an ambitious project: to produce gin most distinguished in the world. The peculiarity of Tanqueray lies in its development process and meticulous craftsmanship in the selection of its botanical ingredients. Only 10% of everything that is selected beforehand is good enough to be used in the distillation and therefore worthy of giving the flavor to Tanqueray. And 'the only gin that leaves aged for 18 months its botanical ingredients, thus ensuring the highest quality and an extraordinary aroma, after a trial of four distillations. Among the awards in possession of Tanqueray emerges the Double Gold Medal at the World Spirits Competition in 2004 and 2005 and the other gold medals in the World Selection of the years 1987, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1998 and 2001. in their travels in India, the British learned to soften their gin with a piece of Rangpur Lime. Tanqueray has perfected this tradition with Tanqueray Rangpur, a gin distilled with rare Rangpur Lime. The secret lies in these exotic lime that give a profile sweet and juicy. The result is a subtle flavor and refreshing, with a soft finish and pleasant. Launched in the US market in 2006, Tanqueray Rangpur is a rare version of the famous brand of high-end of London Dry Gin. More marked by notes of green lemon, this gin is produced on the basis of a long list of botanicals including the result of rangpur (a fruit obtained from the intersection of lemon and tangerine), ginger and bay leaf. It has some points in common with the other family Tanqueray gin, but reveals more notes of citrus, spices and herbs. A gin that has kept the traditional character of the small producer.
