Behind the valued owl, the design of the labels that is now a discernible sign of absolute quality, it hides a solid reality, in which the facts count more than words. Ignaz Niedrist, born in 1960, heir to a long tradition of wine, after years of experience at the Colterenzio winery, has decided to take his personal activities in 1991, flanked by his wife Elisabeth. Rigorous and passionate, today Niedrist brought his winery to excel in the landscape of South Tyrol, in addition to being a true point of reference for many young colleagues that look just today in this beautiful craft. The most substantial of the vineyards is located behind the cellar, in one of the highest points of the hill Cornaiano, 500 meters above sea level. Here are the acid soils, moraine, full of debris and quartzite, porphyry and granite features, combined with the precision with which Ignaz doing his job, leading to the production of precise, clean, fresh and expressive wines, with an unique and always recognizable style. The winery Niedrist today can certainly be considered one of the peaks of excellence in the Italian wine: its white wines truly represent labels of absolute value.
