The Beaujolais "Expérience" by Domaine des Canailles is a light and fine red wine, an expressive Beaujolais made with Gamay and a small proportion of Chardonnay. It is an energetic red with notes of black fruits and spices on the finish, a vibrant bouquet that invites sipping. On the palate it shows a surprising finesse balanced by freshness and dynamism in the mouth. Ideal for pairing with "minimal" cuisine, with graceful and elegant flavors, such as white meat with herbs
The Beaujolais 'Expérience' from Domaine des Canailles is fragrant, fruity red, young, and fresh. The label reflects very well the tradition of this famous French region, which has grown a lot in terms of quality in recent years, offering an increasingly interesting and elegant range of wines. The cuvée is made from Gamay grapes, the region's typical variety, and a small balance of Chardonnay, which contributes a touch of refined lightness to the blend. Thanks to an ageing process that does not involve the use of wood, the wine retains the varietal expressive immediacy of perfectly ripe grapes.
"Expérience" is the Beaujolais of Domaine des Canailles, an estate located near Ternand, in the 'Pierres Dorées' appellation area. The property covers 8 hectares, all cultivated according to organic farming principles and using biodynamic practices. The vineyards are located at an altitude of between 450 and 550 metres above sea level. The soils are derived from the deformation of granite rocks, which are particularly suited to Gamay. The grapes used to make the cuvée come from vineyards that are 50 years old and yield clusters of remarkable aromatic intensity. Fermentation occurs in whole bunches using only indigenous yeasts and with maceration on the skins based on the infusion principle. The wine matures for a few months in steel and cement vats. It is bottled without filtration or clarification and with a very low addition of sulphites.
The red Beaujolais "Expérience" Domaine des Canailles is a harmonious, flowing wine that provides immediate and satisfying drinking pleasure. A typical expression of the best Gamay from the 'Pierres Dorées' area, it presents itself in the glass with a beautiful, bright ruby red colour. Aromas of ripe red fruit, cherries, small berries, floral scents, delicate hints of spices and officinal herbs dominate the olfactory picture. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a crisp and fresh finish.
