The Curtefranca Bianco "Uccellanda" by Bellavista comes from Chardonnay grapes grown in the vineyard that the name to the wine, at one end of brighter and sunnier entire Franciacorta. A glacial valley on the edge of Lake Iseo, in the town of Curtefranca, in Nigoline, above 300 meters above sea level. Here the climatic factor is the essence of the terroir, here the heat during the day releases the Lake gives way to cool nights and windy that provide ideal conditions for the maturation of the grapes of Chardonnay.
We are in a historic winery of Franciacorta, a cellar that has contributed with its experience and its tradition to enhance this area. The vineyard boasts Uccellanda covers just over 4 hectares and is characterized by a substrate of glacial deposits, characterized by sand and silt levels. Harvest after a perfect selection and fermentation and aging for 12 months in small white oak barrels, before resting another 6 months in bottle.
The result is a rich and elegant Curtefranca Bianco, buttery, soft and structured, that gives hints of vanilla and golden apple, with a finish of ripe fruit...
