Gin "Sapphire" Bombay is a unique and inimitable gin, a London Dry with an unmistakable personality. The aromas are rich and spicy, of juniper, citrus and black pepper. The taste reveals smoothness, cohesion and compelling aromaticity: a great classic of mixed drinking!
The London Dry Gin Bombay is based on an ancient recipe created in 1761 by the distiller Thomas Dakin. It is made with the best ingredients and boasts an outstanding international production method, different from all the standard. While many gin quality are achieved through the method of boiling botanicals with the spirit, the Bombay gin is the only one to use the process of steam infusion combining botanicals with the spirit while it is still in the form of steam. This delicate procedure requires some special stills Carterhead, now existing only in two copies worldwide, both used from home Mumbai for the production of this exciting gin certified as London Dry Gin. The result is worthy of applause: a great softness, a distillate rich taste, fresh and spicy. The aroma awakens the senses with citrus notes, at the touch of freshly ground black pepper, passing through the Tuscan juniper, followed by exotic floral notes bewitch the nose. Once tasted, the heat of the pepper and the freshness of citrus on the palate are revealed in perfect harmony. Notice is also easily hints of coriander, a pinch of angelica and iris roots that hover with their presence. The persistence and the closing of the merger are entrusted sip of citrus oils with the warmth of the pepper.
