The "Le Rosé du Matin" from Domaine des Canailles is a rosé wine fresh and vibrant, with the color of early morning light. It is made following biodynamic principles, using Gamay grapes and a small percentage of Chardonnay. On the nose it is distinguished by notes of strawberries, cherries and citrus; on the palate, on the other hand, it surprises with its intensity and structure. It is not robust but has vinous sensations that, with great freshness and intriguing earthy hints, paints a truly unique profile. A perfect wine for a day by the sea, but truly territorial and pleasantly complex

Le Rosé du Matin' wine from Domaine des Canailles is a rosé of great personality. Far from the versions that are fashionable today, inspired by the subtle and light Provençal models, it is a rosé characterised by a good structure and aromatic intensity, which well represents the particularities of the Gamay vine and the traditions of this territory. Its darker colour and vinous sensations make it a rosé with a decidedly gastronomic vocation, which finds its fullest expression at the table, where it pairs very well with first courses with tomato sauce, seafood guazzetti, poultry or white meats with delicate flavours.
"Le Rosé du Matin" from Domaine des Canailles is an interesting label from this family-run estate that manages 8 hectares of vines in the 'Pierres dorées' area in the south of the Beaujolais region. The agronomic management has been under organic farming since 2005, and since 2019, biodynamic principles have also been applied. The rosé is the fruit of a blend made from Gamay and a small percentage of Chardonnay. The vineyards are over 60 years old and are cultivated at an altitude between 450 and 550 metres above sea level on soils generated by the disintegration of granite rocks. It is a rosé de saignée, made with spontaneous fermentation and using only indigenous yeasts. The wine matures in stoneware containers and is then bottled without filtration or clarification, adding only a minimum quantity of sulphites.
The 'Le Rosé du Matin' made by the Domaine des Canailles represents a pleasant version of this type of wine, which today enjoys considerable success worldwide due to its pleasantness and pliability. To the eye, it is a beautiful light cherry pink with luminous reflections. The bouquet offers fragrances of citrus peel, grapefruit, wild strawberry, redcurrant, morello cherry, hints of undergrowth and humus, floral sensations and officinal herbs. The palate reveals a good structure, with a harmonious entry, and a vinous and juicy mouthfeel, extending towards a fresh finish with good persistence of flavour.
