Oleato Tripstillery is an original and innovative olive distillate that revolutionizes the world of spirits by bringing a breath of fresh air to the industry's classic categories. It was conceived by Flavio Angiolillo, creator of the Milan-based Tripstillery of the Farmily group, who first thought of using olives as a raw material to make a distillate. A choice that immediately characterizes it as a typical product of the Mediterranean area, which has always been the cradle of olive cultivation and the production of excellent quality olive oil. A distillate with a territorial face, in line with the most modern trends in the world of distillates, which in the last decade has shown great interest in expressions that are the result of traditions or local raw materials.
Oleato Tripstillery distillate is a product with a typically artisanal character, made with extreme care and attention at every stage of preparation. At its base are high quality ingredients. Excellent olive leaves, olives and olive oil are used for production. This is done by steeping the olive oil in the purest alcohol for a period of about a month in order to extract all the scents and aromas. At the end of the infusion period, it is distilled in a traditional 50-liter discontinuous still, together with olive leaves and Taggiasca olives, so as to strengthen the aromatic intensity. Before bottling, the alcohol content of the distillate is lowered with very pure water. The end result is surprising and exciting.
Oleato Tripstillery is a bottle that surprises and conquers with its fullness and aromatic richness. To savor its unique taste, we recommend tasting it neat and over ice. However, it is also an excellent ingredient for making unusual cocktails, often specially created by modern mixology, such as Grande Olivosky or Negroni all'Oliva, capable of enhancing and highlighting its best characteristics. Its olfactory profile is refined and elegant, with soft notes of fragrant olive, herbaceous nuances of medicinal herbs, artichoke, Mediterranean maquis herbs and balsamic hints. The sip is clear, pleasantly aromatic and satisfying, with a long and harmonious finish.
