Pinot Noir Rosè 'Pulsations' Du Vin aux Liens 2022

Du Vin aux Liens' “Pulsations” is a Rosé Pinot Noir produced from the clay, limestone and sandstone soils of Alsace. It is a very fresh, delicate and lively rosé wine that is macerated for 12 hours before soft pressing, which in turn precedes an 8-month maturation on fine lees in steel tanks. Red fruits, hibiscus flowers and spices dominate ‘Pulsations’, making it an ideal wine to enjoy with fritto misto or a board of sliced meats and cold cuts

PINOT NOIR ROSÈ 'PULSATIONS' DU VIN AUX LIENS 2022 DESCRIPTION

The Pinot Noir Rosé 'Pulsations' from Du Vin aux Liens is a refreshing and floral rosé wine born in Alsace from the collaboration between Vanessa Letort and Domaine Loberger. This estate in the village of Bergholtz, located south of Colmar, was acquired in 1984 by Jean-Jacques Loberger, who immediately directed agricultural management towards organic and biodynamic farming. It is one of the various artisanal domains selected by Vanessa Letort, founder of the Du Vin aux Liens project, which is committed to producing straightforward and genuine wines, free from any schemes.

Domaine Loberger and Du Vin aux Liens Pinot Noir 'Pulsations' is produced solely from Pinot Noir grapes grown within the Niederer Spiegel plot, located between the Grand Crus of Spiegel and Saering. The vines are approximately 25 years old and are cultivated using the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, both certified, on clay-limestone soils characterized by a high presence of sandstone. After manual harvesting, the clusters are immediately transferred to the cellar and then subjected to 12 hours of skin maceration, followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures for 8 months on fine lees in stainless steel, after which it is bottled without any filtration or clarification and without the addition of sulfur.

The Pinot Noir 'Pulsations' from Du Vin aux Liens has a delicate and bright pink color. The aromatic profile opens up to fruity and floral sensations of wild strawberry, cherry, rose, violet, and hibiscus flowers, with hints of pepper and cocoa on the finish. On the palate, it is fresh and delicate, exceptionally vibrant, with floral and mineral perceptions marking the gustatory closure.
