Clos Monlleó from Sangenís i Vaqué is an intense, full-bodied red wine made from Garnacha and Cariñena grapes. It comes from Catalonia, in the municipality of Porrera, on terraces and slopes of 'llicolella', characteristic schistose slate soils that favour exceptional grape quality. Ideal to serve with spicy dishes and tasty vegetable compositions, Clos Monlleó is an important and structured wine, reminiscent of red fruits with cherry and plum aromas, spices with hints of black pepper and a light smokiness with notes of smoke and graphite
