El Marujo Joven Organico Señorio De Librares is a Spanish red wine based on Tempranillo, made from organic grapes grown in the La Rioja region. The nose expresses notes of small red fruits, balsamic and mineral hints, while the palate offers a smooth and balanced sip, supported on the finish by nice acidity. To accompany an aperitif with tapas!
With its fruity and juicy style, the Rioja Joven 'El Marujo' Organic by the Señorio de Librares winery is perfect for convivial outdoor grilling sessions. Among the cornerstones of the production philosophy of the Espinosa sisters, Clara and Patricia, the latest generation of a long line of winemakers, there is a commitment to focus exclusively on traditional Rioja grape varieties. Among these, Tempranillo stands out above all, accompanied by Graciano, Garnacha Tinta, Mazuelo, Viura, and Tempranillo Blanco. These varieties are cultivated using eco-friendly practices and are subsequently vinified according to a minimally interventionist approach.
'El Marujo' Rioja Joven Organic from Señorio de Librares is a pure Tempranillo from vines grown in accordance with the principles of certified organic agriculture. Once harvested, the grapes are vinified as red wine through spontaneous alcoholic fermentation lasting 10-15 days, conducted exclusively by the yeasts present on the berries and in the winemaking environment. This is followed by complete malolactic fermentation in cement tanks and then aging for several months in stainless steel tanks, containers that allow the freshness and fruitiness of the wine to be preserved to the fullest.
The Rioja Joven Señorio de Librares 'El Marujo' Organic has a bright cherry red color. Sensations of small red fruits and floral hints characterize the interesting aromatic profile, surrounded by balsamic and mineral nuances. On the palate, it is juicy and smooth, fresh and balanced, with tannins that are never intrusive, leading to a fruity finish. This Tempranillo is designed for carefree drinking, ideal to be enjoyed chilled at a temperature of around 14-16 °C to fully enhance its fruitiness and gustatory agility.
