The Sauvignon "Le Nez Trèfleuri" from Domaine Oudart is a fragrant, intense and elegant version of this popular semi-aromatic grape variety, which is a true ambassador of the French Loire Valley region worldwide. The winery has chosen to offer a white wine with a strong personality that expresses itself in a very harmonious, complex and aromatic way, also thanks to the ageing in the wood. The notes are typical of the grape variety and are enhanced by refined tertiary developments that broaden the bouquet and make the sip particularly satisfying and balanced.

Le Nez Trèfleuri" is a Sauvignon that sees the light of day on a classic family estate that passionately cultivates its vineyards in Monthou-sur-Cher. Domaine Oudart is located in the centre of the Loire Valley and cultivates 11 hectares that are managed according to the principles of sustainable agriculture and are in the process of being converted to organic farming. The area has always been very well suited to viticulture. It has a cool, aerated climate and soils of clay and sand with silica, limestone and chalk veins. The Sauvignon Blanc vines are grown on gentle slopes that reach an altitude of about 100 metres and have a sunny exposure to the east. The grapes selected in the vineyard are gently pressed, and the must be fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.

It has a pale yellow colour with bright reflections. The bouquet profile offers aromas of medicinal herbs, aromatic herbs, nuances of white flowers, citrus scents of lime peel, grapefruit, aromas of white-fleshed fruits, apple, peach and delicate tropical notes. With a good structure and intensity of flavour, it has a deep, long and persistent mouthfeel that expands to a fresh and tasty finish.
