Acqua di Cedro Spirito Reale - 50cl

Through its strong, fragrant citrus essence, the Acqua di Cedro from the Turin-based Spirito Reale is able to transport the senses on a taste journey that explores the deeper spirit of citron liqueurs. Acqua di Cedro originates from the shores of beautiful Lake Garda, which with its mild climate characterised by Mediterranean influences is ideal for the cultivation of the cedar tree. In particular, the cultivation of the Salò cedar tree, bred since the 15th century in the area around the municipality of the same name in the province of Brescia, is traditional on Lake Garda. It was precisely in this area that the art of liqueur-making was spread, based on the use of the local citron, from which the so-called 'citron water' is obtained.

The basic ingredients of Spirito Reale Cedar Water Liqueur are water, alcohol, sugar and natural flavourings. These are skilfully combined to produce a fragrant and well-balanced liqueur, finally packaged in an elegant 500 ml bottle.

On visual inspection, Spirito Reale's signature Cedar Water has a crystal-clear appearance. On the nose, the fragrant and intense aroma of citrus fruit, particularly citron peel, dominates. The taste is sweet and silky, well supported by the citrus finish that envelops the palate and gives a refreshing and persistent sensation. In addition to its undoubted organoleptic qualities, Spirito Reale's Cedar Water surprises with its formidable versatility, as it can be enjoyed cold, neat or with a few ice cubes, or diluted with sparkling water, tonic or soda to make a thirst-quenching drink. Also excellent is the combination with a Charmat Method sparkling wine to make an alternative Spritz with a refreshing citrus flavour.
