The Repertorio is a Aglianico del Vulture elegant and rich, with an aromatic range from morello cherry to ripe plum. In the mouth it has a full and balanced taste, with the vigorous tannic texture typical of the grape variety. It is harvested in late October and ages in French oak barrels for 12 months.

The renowned Lucanian winery Cantine del Notaio presents Aglianico del Vulture 'Il Repertorio,' a bottle that aims to reveal the more accessible side of this black grape while not skimping on breadth and depth. The official founding of Cantine del Notaio dates back to 1998 when Gerardo Giuratrabocchetti decided to leave the profession of agronomist to devote himself full-time to the family vineyards. From that moment on, the estate has established itself as one of Basilicata's most important production realities, a region enhanced through one great grape variety: Aglianico del Vulture. Singular then is the choice to name the bottles with notary terms, a profession practiced by Gerardo's father.
Cantine del Notaio's Aglianico del Vulture 'Il Repertorio' is a 100% Aglianico grown on soils of volcanic origin, particularly rich in minerals, with the presence of tuff at depth. The vines, raised through an eco-sustainable agronomic approach, are located between 430 and 600 meters above sea level. Harvesting is done by hand in crates during the second or third decade of October, and the grapes are then mellowed in stainless steel tanks for temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation, accompanied by about 10 days of maceration on the skins. The ensuing one-year maturation phase occurs in French oak barrels within the winery's magnificent volcanic tuff caves.
'Il Repertorio' Aglianico del Vulture Cantine del Notaio has a brilliant ruby red colour. The aromatic ensemble comprises fruity and floral scents of currant, black cherry, and dog rose, assisted by spicy, mineral and Mediterranean herbal hints. Warm and tannic on the palate, supported by a lively freshness and persistent saline trail.
