Aglianico 'Terra d'Eclano' Quintodecimo 2021

The Aglianico Terra d’Eclano is another example of the undisputed quality of the wines Quintodecimo, a winery that in a few years has been able to create real liquid art crafts that represent the terroir from Campania, near Taurasi. The name of this winery, Quintodecimo, chosen by Luigi Moio and Laura, together in life as in this wonderful initiative, comes from the Latin name Quintum Decimum which the Romans, since the eighth century AD, called the only house which represent the old town of Eclanum, where today stands the cellar. The Terra d’Eclano is made with grapes from five distinct vineyards owned by the winery, all planted with Aglianico grape. The Aglianico Terra d’Eclano is a beautiful, seductive and refined wine able to remember its older brother: Taurasi Quintodecimo. Enchant nose with elegant soft scented with notes of berries, fresh fruit and more intense perfumes of coffee and liquorice. This beautiful variety is the sensory legacy of five terroir with different climate, exposure and soils, from which the grapes of this wonderful wine grow. The taste has a persuasive structure with its velvety tannins that caress the palate with a long majestic finish, infinite, elegant and pleasantly fruity, embedded on balsamic and spicy texture. A great wine, able to tell in an instant in the land of Irpinia of Quintum Decimum.
