Aglianico del Taburno 'Vigna Pezza La Corte' Ocone 2014

The "Vigna Pezza la Corte" is a Aglianico del Taburno that ages 9 months in barrique and 12 months in bottle. Immediately striking for its very concentrated color and bouquet reminiscent of small berries and tobacco. Satisfying and soft in the mouth, with dense and soft tannins, it gives a pleasant balance between freshness and structure. An Aglianico with great value for money

AGLIANICO DEL TABURNO 'VIGNA PEZZA LA CORTE' OCONE 2014 DESCRIPTION

The Aglianico del Taburno "Vigna Pezza La Corte" by Ocone striking and fascinating for its excellence; ruby red color, intense notes of blueberries and blackberries that blend wonderfully well with the spicy character and vanilla typical of refinement in barrels and a final with silky tannins and absolutely fine. This would be enough to be intrigued dall'Aglianico "Vigna Pezza La Corte" by Ocone, but in reality this wine has to offer even more... Hides and offers an idea, a project, a dream to Giuseppe Ocone; he was in 1910 to begin to bridge the first winery soon became one of the most experienced and capable local winegrowers. Now we find Domenico Ocone and Nicola Pastore to lead a company that still retains the character and the traditional family that has characterized over the past decades and who has been combining the technological application of natural and sustainable criteria in the vineyard. This Aglianico arises precisely from Vigna Pezza La Corte, a cru very small place on a particularly rich in limestone between 200 and 400 meters above sea level. Here Aglianico del Taburno can express the best of themselves, giving a wine full of character and personality, always elegant and soft, never excessive. A story to know...
