Born after a natural drying for 10-15 days on racks or in the same boxes used for the harvest and matures, evolving, for 24-36 months in large wooden barrels. These are two phases to give Aleatico d’Elba by Acquabona its typical irresistible charm. A raisin which comes with its very intense ruby red color and that gives to the wine profound notes of black cherry, morello cherry, prune, of small berries, violet, rose and peony, gentian and spices.
