Deltetto's Alta Langa Brut 'PN-CH' is a tribute to the historic grape varieties for the production of bubbles, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This refined Alta Langa is a fine Metodo Classico with a distinct mineral profile. The nose opens with elegant notes of citrus and baked apple, then hints of pastry. The palate is very savoury, the fine bubbles give roundness and structure to the sip. Try it with oysters au naturel

The Alta Langa Brut 'PN-CH' is a bubbly with a fragrant and balanced style that well presents the cut of Deltetto's fine sparkling wines. The words 'PN-CH' stand for 'Pinot Noir-Chardonnay', the two noble French grape varieties used in the production of this Metodo Classico. Moreover, these are the only two varieties allowed by the regulations for Alta Langa sparkling wines, always vintage and subject to a compulsory period of refinement on the lees in the bottle of at least 30 months, all expedients aimed at maximum quality.
The 'PN-CH' Deltetto Alta Langa Brut Millesimato consists of a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes grown in compliance with the regulations ofcertified organic farming. In the winery, the bunches, harvested entirely by hand, are vinified in white by gentle pressing and alcoholic fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C. After a short period of maturation, the wine is bottled with the addition of the draught syrup for re-fermentation in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico, combined with a period of at least 30 months of ageing on its lees. After this time, the sparkling wine is finally disgorged and dosed as Brut.
To the eye, Alta Langa Brut Millesimato Deltetto 'PN-CH' reveals a pale straw-yellow colour with fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, fragrant sensations of bread crust and meringue form a backdrop to hints of candied lemon, white flowers and iodine. The palate is clean and intense, endowed with a marked freshness that is further enhanced by thesubtle effervescence, in a savoury and balanced development that rests on a finish of excellent taste-olfactory correspondence.
