The Absinthe La Fée is a high-alcoholic spirit obtained, according to a traditional nineteenth-century recipe, from the distillation of alcohol and various botanical herbs, including the wormwood. It has penetrating aromas of spices, aniseed, herbs and fennel seeds and a powerful and refreshing taste
The Absinthe Superieure “Parisienne” La Fée is one of the most beautiful green fairy of the French historic distillery La Fée, awarded over the years all over the world with six gold and four silver medals, the most recent has been given in 2014. That spirit, made famous by poète maudit of the 19th century, is an intriguing emerald in a bottle with an attractive design, equipped with a slotted spoon, fundamental to fully enjoy absinth: in order to make the flavor of anise less aggressive you dissolve a sugar cube on this particular spoon, sliding wire or drop by drop ice water. The “sugar and burn” method is an alternative, highly choreographed, way to serve it, having gone out of style for the first time in the Czech Republic. The dilution enhances the flavors and aromas of over nine different herbs and spices, its valuable raw materials, which include more traditional ingredients in absinthe culture: the Artemisia absinthium, Grande Wormwood, and the Pontic Artemisia, Petite Wormwood. The “Parisienne” was the first absinthe that French people were able to distill and bottle since 1915 ban and has been revived, in its original recipe of the 19th century, for the first time in 2000, when the Musée de l'Absinthe , in Auvers-sur-Oise, opened its doors. Its creation is done in copper stills in the Cherry Rocher distillery, in the Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. An absinthe of the highest quality, as its gradation shows, ranking between 65% and 75% with its 68%. Protagonist of myths and legends, novels and paintings, discussions and misunderstandings, it is a spirit with an eternal charm, a fairy who seduces the senses…
