The Barolo "Sarmassa" by Giacomo Brezza is produced by one of the most historic wineries in the Langhe. The Brezza owns several vineyards in Barolo since 1885 and as early as 1910 Giacomo, along with his father Antonio, gave way to production. We are in the territory of Barolo, on vineyards planted in 1941 and in 2000, facing South, South-East, with the bottom mostly clay and situated 300 meters above sea level. One of the characteristics of these soils is to produce quality wines from the most own in years with a climate driest and dry. Here that the cellar Brezza combines modernity and technology with the tradition and familiarity, both during vinification, made with long maceration in stainless steel tanks, and in the management of refinement, with at least two years of aging in medium-sized barrels. The Barolo "Sarmassa" by Giacomo Brezza has a higher quality and a pure class that opens on the nose with a range of aromatic flowers, herbs, and mint and on the palate with a solid structure and tannins fine and silky.
