Vincent Wengier's Bourgogne Blanc originates in the prized Chablis area, with only Chardonnay grown on the traditional clay-limestone soils, responsible for great finesse. The nose has typical white fruit sensations that meet with hints of wet stone. In the mouth it is very taut but round, with a mineral profile. It can mature in the cellar to develop more evolved hints, but it is also excellent now as an aperitif, perhaps with fish appetisers
Pale straw yellow with green highlights
Intense hints of apple and pear, slight aromas of white peach and camomile flowers, subtle hints of butter on the finish
Distinctly savoury and mineral, round and with good tension
