BIANCO 'BRAZAN' I CLIVI 2023 DESCRIPTION

I Clivi's 'Brazan' is a white wine with a deep, elegant profile, characterised by a pleasant verticality. The note that makes this bottle interesting is undoubtedly the "marine" note that is most easily perceived on the palate, but which will not escape experts even on the nose, where the range of aromas is broad and well delineated. A very traditional label, which can have a nice evolution over the next two or three years.

Brazan' I Clivi is a white wine grown in the vineyard that gives the label its name. We are located in Cormons, in a landscape setting where the soils are characterised by marl, limestone and clay. The Friulano, Ribolla Gialla and Malvasia vines are grown in the 'Brazan' vineyard on the south/west slope of Mount Quarin in Brazzano di Cormons, in the province of Gorizia. Harvesting takes place towards the middle of September. The grapes are pressed whole cluster and the free-run juice obtained decants by gravity to separate the coarser lees. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in steel by indigenous yeasts. This is followed by the final stage of maturation, carried out for 18 months in steel.

The white 'Brazan' I Clivi announces itself to the eye with a straw-yellow colour, endowed with a beautiful lightness, which invites a convinced tasting. The aromas that envelop the nose recall fruity touches and hints of aniseed, and then move towards a range of assorted scents, from aromatic herbs to touches of brine. Concentrated and refined in the mouth, where the sip flows with a very harmoniousmarine soul as the drink unfolds. A label that recounts one of the two most vocated crus of the entire production of the I Clivi winery, in which the quality is distinctly noticeable from the very first moments leading up to the tasting.
