BROUILLY 'LA CROQUANTE' DOMAINE LES ROCHES BLEUES 2022 DESCRIPTION

Brouilly 'La Croquante' from Domaine Les Roches Bleues is a cuvée made with artisanal passion by a winery that has been cultivating vines in this area of Beaujolais for three generations. The label is a true synthesis of the various vineyards of the estate and is made from pure Gamay, the historical vine of the area. Its smooth and agile profile, youthful and fruity, offers a fragrant sip characterised by immediate, simple and genuine pleasantness. A straightforward red, excellent to enjoy on informal occasions or to drink with friends for pure convivial pleasure.

"La Croquante" Brouilly from Domaine Les Roches Bleues comes from a family-owned estate, which cultivates 9 hectares of vineyards in the Appellation Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly territories in the Beaujolais region. The cuvée is the result of a balanced blend of grapes from different Gamay vineyards that are between 25 and 60 years old. The mild, sunny climate and suitable soils, composed of the famous pink granites of the Beaujolais region, allow Gamay to express itself at a high level of quality. Harvesting is carried out manually, and the grapes are subjected to a short whole-cluster carbonic maceration, which lasts about a week and allows for a delicate and light extraction. Fermentation takes place spontaneously, using only indigenous yeasts. The wine matures in steel tanks for 6-8 months and is then bottled without filtration and with a very low dose of sulphites added.

Brouilly 'La Croquante' Domaine Les Roches Bleues is a red wine with a typically territorial character, expressing with extreme transparency the indissoluble link between the production area and its main grape variety. In the glass, it is a beautiful, lively ruby red with light, youthful purple reflections. Exuberant and rich, it conquers with a fragrant bouquet characterised by aromas of cherries, small berries, nuances of violets and aromatic herbs from the Mediterranean maquis. Juicy and limpid, it has a very delicate tannic texture and harmonious, crisp and soft aromas, leading to a fresh and pleasantly fruity finish.
