CANNONAU 'SARTIU' SEDILESU 2021 DESCRIPTION

The Cannonau "Sartiu" is the latest in the winery of Giuseppe Sedilesu, another great example of Cannonau in Mamoiada; an historic cellar of Nuoro who helped bring prestige to this land, too often forgotten, but in recent years is gaining appreciation of appreciation. And to understand why it takes very little: we are in the heart of Sardinia, a short distance from the Gennargentu National Park, in the rolling hills that reach to more than 600 meters above sea level; here you can see the sea and the climate alternates the dry heat of the day in the cool of the night; ideal conditions for growing vines concentrated berries rich and of great quality. Vineyards in full respect of local traditions are bred to tree, on granitic soils. We are facing with a Cannonau pure brewing without the addition of selected yeasts at a temperature of between 20° and 34°; the refinement of this Cannonau is the important ones: Sedilesu leaves him at least 24 months in large oak barrels, and then stabilize it for 6 months in bottle. This refinement helps to give us a Cannonau of an extraordinary quality/price ratio; Cannonau from a typical red ruby, garnet, which is offered in an elegant bouquet of ripe red fruit, flanked by a beautiful texture and spicy notes of coffee and tobacco.
