CARTIZZE DRY SUPERIORE ANDREOLA DESCRIPTION

Andreola Winery's Prosecco Superiore Cartizze Dry is a sparkling wine made by the Martinotti or Charmat Method of great elegance, smoothness and harmony. It is made with pure Glera grapes, which come exclusively from the prized Cartizze hills, the historically most vocated area in the entire Valdobbiadene district. It represents the highest qualitative summit of the denomination and a true symbol of excellence of the territory. The Dry dosage makes it particularly suave and soft, with floral aromas and intense fruity notes that make it a very pleasant sip. It is a sparkling dessert wine, ideal to enjoy with small dry pastries or fruit tarts.

Cartizze Dry sparkling wine is the appellation's most prestigious Prosecco Superiore. Cantina Andreola cultivates its vineyards in the beautiful hilly area of Col San Martino di Farra di Soligo, in the heart of the classic area. For several generations, the Pola family has dedicated itself to viticulture in this land of ancient vocation, where the Glera grape has found its natural terroir of choice. The fresh, breezy climate and considerable temperature fluctuations have proved ideal for growing grapes for use in sparkling wine bases. The perfect balance of fruity aromas and freshness creates harmonious and elegant wines that are also characterized by a pleasant mineral and savoury streak. Thanks to a long experience and ancient know-how, always faithful to the best traditions, Andreola represents one of the reference names in the Prosecco area. Its labels, dedicated to individual vineyards or cru, are a perfect representation of the best facets of the territory.

Cartizze Dry from the Andreola winery is the flagship of the Prosecco Superiore appellation. It comes from the famous Cartizze Cru, which has been known for centuries for the extraordinary quality of its grapes. The splendid sunny exposures and soils of a predominantly calcareous nature, rich in fossils, allow the Glera to reach full ripeness with a noteworthy expressive finesse. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are softly pressed, and the classic white vinification is carried out. After a few months of rest in steel tanks, the base wines are transferred to autoclaves for the second fermentation using the Martinotti Method. In the glass, it has a pale straw yellow color. The bouquet expresses delicate floral notes, aromas of pear, apple, white peach and citrus zest. The sip is elegant and fine, with a particularly persuasive and soft palate entry, sweet, juicy fruit and a finish that closes on fresh, savoury sensations.
