CHAMPAGNE ROSÉ BRUT PREMIER CRU AUBRY DESCRIPTION

The Aubry Premier Cru Brut Rosé Champagne is a sparkling wine with a crisp and lively personality that reflects the unique style of the Aubry family, now represented by the brothers Pierre and Philippe. This Récoltant Manipulant is located in Jouy-les-Reims, in the heart of the Petite Montagne de Reims region, where for over two centuries, the Aubrys have been dedicated to viticulture, passing down their passion and expertise. The cornerstones of their production philosophy can be summarized in the following values: rigour, respect for tradition, originality, and creativity. This gives rise to a selection of Champagne of rare quality and class intimately linked to the original territory.

Aubry Premier Cru Brut Rosé Champagne is crafted from the base of the "Classique" Brut, made up of a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and small percentages of the sought-after grape varieties Arbanne, Petit Meslier, and Fromenteau. Additionally, 6% of Pinot Noir vinified in red without stems is added. The grapes come from the classified Premier Cru villages of Villedommange, Pargny-les-Reims, Jouy-les-Reims, and Coulommes-la-Montagne. The vinification involves the complete completion of malolactic fermentation, and then the masses are blended and placed in the bottle for the Méthode Champenoise, with at least 18 months of ageing on the lees. After the resting period on the lees, the bottles undergo disgorgement and Extra Brut dosage, although the wine is labelled as Brut.

The Aubry Premier Cru Brut Rosé Champagne has a lively pink colour with a dense and fine perlage. On the nose, there are hints of crisp red fruits, with strawberry and raspberry taking the lead, surrounded by fragrant notes of buttery biscuit. The taste is enveloping, lively, and crisp, with a satisfying and elegant sip that invites further tastings.
