CHAMPAGNE BRUT CUVÉE 'SAINTE ANNE' CHARTOGNE TAILLET DESCRIPTION

Champagne Brut Cuvée "Sainte Anne" Chartogne Taillet is a faithful expression of a wine that sees its fruit develop in several parcels north of the village of Merfy. Composed mostly of Pinot Noir, followed by Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, the vineyards are rooted in soils rich in sand and clay. Importantly, the Chartogne Taillet winery enjoys the Recoltant Manipulant (RM) label, which highlights that the grapes come exclusively from estate vineyards and that Champagne is produced only within the estate's winery.

Cuvée "Sainte Anne" Champagne Brut Chartogne Taillet is made from grapes from vineyards at least 25 years old, working respecting nature and its rhythms. Having started the harvest with manual harvesting, work moves on to the cellar, where vinification is carried out using only indigenous yeasts inside stainless steel vats. This is followed by a second refermentation in the bottle, embracing the Champenoise Method, and then concluding the process with a bottling carried out without any kind of filtration, which is linked to the final ageing of 24 months on the lees.

The Chartogne Taillet Champagne Brut Cuvée "Saint Anne" invades the glass with an intense straw yellow and fine perlage of graceful persistence. On the nose, the unveiling bouquet does not disappoint expectations, honey and scents of pastry and bread crust paint an aromatic canvas of rare finesse and deep cohesion. Sipped, the Cuvée "Sainte Anne" opens with precise balance and a minerality that, combined with savoriness, never seems to want to leave the taste buds. A Champagne that graciously expresses the characteristics of a terroir of immense tradition and which, thanks to its structure and richness, recalls dishes of equal characteristic and aromatic charge.
