CHAMPAGNE EXTRA BRUT 'LONGITUDE' LARMANDIER BERNIER DESCRIPTION

Champagne 'Longitude' is an Extra Brut in which Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs reigns supreme. There are in fact several estates, classified both Premier and Grand Cru, that the Maison Larmandier Bernier can boast in this area, all cultivated with biodynamic principles since 2004. This gives rise to spontaneous and territorial labels such as 'Longitude', a bubble of great finesse and elegance that encapsulates all the class of Champagne.

Longitude' Champagne Extra Brut is a blanc de blancs made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. The vines of this international variety are cultivated by the Larmandier Bernier winery using exclusively biodynamic methods, in the Premier Cru of Vertus and in the Grand Crus of Oger, Avize and Cramant. We are in chalky terroirs, which are well suited to the cultivation of Chardonnay. The must ferments spontaneously thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts in both wood and steel, also carrying out malolactic fermentation. Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle, following the production criteria of the Champenoise Method. The Champagne remains on the lees to mature for 24 months, after which the disgorging, dosage and bottling procedures begin.

The Extra Brut Champagne "Longitude" signed by the maison recoltant-manipulant Larmandier Bernier presents itself visually with a straw-yellow colour; the perlage takes on a fine grain, with good persistence. The nose is broad and varied, with exotic fruit sensations that are enriched by more herbaceous notes. In the mouth, it is dynamic, lively, with a tense sip that fuels the drink. It closes with a finish characterised by a savoury aftertaste. A good label for every moment, which will add a touch of liveliness and elegance.
