The Cuvée Prestige is a Brut Champagne that, for Taittinger, represents the first step in its product range made in Reims. In fact, it is a bottle that comes from a skilful blend of the three representative grape varieties of the Champagne wine region, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, characterised by balance and harmony, in which the fine and subtle aromas derive from a 24-month maturation on the lees. A bubbly that, among its many positive aspects, also has that of being characterised by an excellent gastronomic propensity, which makes it always a more than successful choice.
This Champagne Brut Cuvée Prestige comes from the skilful blending of the three grape varieties that usually give rise to French bubbles, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The grapes of these varieties come from no less than from fifty different plots, carefully selected within Taittinger's own vineyards. Once harvested, the grapes are alcoholically fermented and then re-fermented, according to the production principles of the Champenoise Method, for at least 24 months, remaining on the lees in the bottle. At the end of this period, disgorgement, dosage and bottling are carried out.
The Cuvée Prestige is a Brut Champagne that presents itself with a luminous golden yellow colour, traversed by a fine bubble of good persistence. The nose is dominated by fresh and subtle sensations, with floral and fruity notes, enhanced by touches of yeast and pastry. It is full-bodied on the palate, with a fragrant, balanced mouthfeel that relies on a mineral and refreshing sensation. An excellently crafted bubble, with which the Taittinger Maison gives us the perfect bottle to brighten up the most stylish aperitifs.
