CHAMPAGNE BRUT RESERVE GRAND CRU MAILLY DESCRIPTION

Champagne Brut Reserve Grand Cru from Mailly is an elegant interpretation of one of the most beautiful territories in all of France, the Champagne region. It is here that the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines from which this label originates grow, a cuvée resulting from a careful selection of reserve wines that have up to a maximum of 10 years of maturation. A bottle with a broad sip, opening with delicate fruity and spicy aromas on the nose, to be stored for the most joyous occasions.

Brut Reserve Grand Cru is a Champagne that is made by the Maison Mailly by blending 75 percent Pinot Noir with 25 percent Chardonnay. Both varieties are grown in different parcels owned by the winery, scattered within the Grand Crus of the Montagne de Reims. The berries, once harvested, are softly pressed and then undergo alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel. It is then blended with 10 different vintages already matured in wood, and the cuvée is refermented in the bottle following the production principles of the Champenoise Method. The wine then ages on the lees in the bottle for 24 months, after which disgorgement, dosage and bottling are carried out.

This Champagne Brut Reserve Grand Cru announces itself to the eye with a golden hue, with a fine and persistent perlage. The olfactory spectrum is broad and layered, with predominant fruity and spicy sensations, which also present touches of yeast and pastry on the finish. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, dry, with a sip that develops with good freshness. A signature Mailly label perfect for all occasions, from the most elegant aperitifs to dinners where fish is the star ingredient.
