CHAMPAGNE ROSÉ BRUT REMY MASSIN DESCRIPTION

Maison Rémy Massin's Champagne Rosé Brut is a label with a typically gourmand character, expressing all the aromatic richness and structure of a great Pinot Noir. The minority percentage of Chardonnay contributes a touch of elegance, without distorting the essence of a great rosé that is fruity and intense, denoting its gastronomic vocation from the very first sip. It is a Champagne to be enjoyed throughout a meal, with baked salmon, pasta with shellfish, seafood guazzetti with tomato sauce or white meats with a delicate flavour and simple cooking.

The Brut Rosé Champagne by Rémy Massin is produced in the heart of the Côte de Bar region, in a splendid domaine occupying the rolling hills of the Valle de l'Arce. The grapes come from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines that are over 30 years old and produce excellent quality, rich and ripe grapes. Once the harvest operations are completed, the best bunches of the two varieties are sent separately for vinification. The Pinot Noir grapes are gently pressed with brief skin contact. This is followed by fermentation of the flower must and subsequent malolactic fermentation. The vins clairs are blended and the final cuvée re-ferments in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a minimum maturation period sur lattes of 36 months before dégorgement.

The Rémy Massin Champagne Brut Rosé is a bottle with a remarkable personality. It is the fruit of a Pinot Noir of great substance and matter, typical of the Côte de Bar region. In the glass, it has a beautiful light pink colour, luminous and with brilliant reflections. The perlage rises fine and continuous and brings to the nose elegant aromas of hawthorn blossom, citrusy hints of pink grapefruit, aromas of raspberry, wild strawberries, redcurrant, pomegranate, sensations of freshly baked bread crust, nuances of dried fruit and a light touch of spice. The sip is rich and ample, with ripe, juicy fruitiness, which finds a perfect gustatory balance in a persistent, savoury and fresh finish.
