CHAMPAGNE ROSÉ BRUT NATURE 'ZERO' TARLANT DESCRIPTION

Tarlant's Champagne Rosé Brut Nature 'Zero' is a true champion of the type, bottled by one of the region's cult wineries. Among the recoltèe manipulants we love unconditionally is the name of the Tarlant family, which owns 14 hectares divided into 60 of the most vocated parcels in the entire region and cultivated in a sensitive and respectful manner. Today, it is Benoit Tarlant who heads the winery, combining the consolidated family tradition with the broad vision of the new generations, who, without upheavals but with a few expedients, seal an almost century-old work. For the few who have not yet tasted one of the region's outstanding wines, his style is characterised by purity of taste, millimetric precision and also a discreet generosity, which makes for an enjoyable and satisfying drink.

Champagne Rosé "Zero" is made from an almost equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with a tiny balance of Pinot Meunier. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes come from the commune of Oeuilly, located in the Valle de la Marne, characterised by soils with a chalky-sandy matrix. After careful selection of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel vats and wooden barrels, with re-fermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method and manual disgorging. Maturation continues for at least 48 months on the lees.

"Zero" Champagne Rosé Brut Nature presents itself in the glass with a brilliant pink colour and fine, persistent perlage. Complex yet whispery nose of redcurrants, citrus peel, spices and aromatic herbs, which unfolds in a gentle, gradual chase. The taste is splendid for its cohesion and the liquid's ability to spread, driven by a refined saline texture and a perfectly integrated freshness. An absolute cornerstone of its type.
