An elegant wine with personality, which has no trouble winning over the palates of all those who have the opportunity to taste it: the "Kreuth" from Cantina Terlano is a white that makes a slight freshness one of its key points, which, together with a particularly complex aromatic range, makes this Chardonnay decidedly interesting. A bottle that is part of the "selection" line made by the winery, and which is therefore characterized by a strict selection of grapes during the harvest: no compromise can, in fact, be accepted in order to always guarantee, year after year, the same standard of quality.
Chardonnay "Kreuth" comes to life from vineyards that Cantina Terlano tends with extreme care and attention; we are located at varying heights above sea level, ranging from about 250 to 900 meters, on steeply sloping south and southwest-facing soils. The grapes, carefully selected to ensure only the best of the terroir of origin, ferment slowly in large oak barrels at a controlled temperature; then, after malolactic fermentation, we continue with refinement in wood, which lasts about 8 months, until bottling operations begin.
The "Kreuth" is a Chardonnay produced by Cantina Terlano that, in the glass, has a deep, straw-yellow colour. The olfactory profile is varied and centres on a range of herbaceous and herbal notes that are also enhanced by light touches of yellow-fleshed fruit. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, harmonious in structure and very drinkable thanks to a taste of pleasant freshness. A bottle of excellent reliability, successfully accompanying succulent aperitifs and tasty fish dishes.
