Deltetto's Langhe Bianco 'Suasì' comes from the early harvesting of Chardonnay grapes. Fermented in steel at a controlled temperature, it develops an immediate and limpid character. In the glass it is a luminous straw yellow, while the nose releases seductive notes of white fruit and exotic fruits. The palate is very fresh, smooth and juicy, inviting the next sip. House tip: try it with bread, butter and anchovies

The Piedmontese winery Deltetto presents the Langhe Bianco 'Suasì', a pure Chardonnay that stands out for its refreshing and drinkable taste. The 'Suasì' collection, which includes this Langhe Bianco and a Langhe Rosato, comes from a small selection of grapes, Chardonnay and Nebbiolo respectively, harvested slightly in advance in order to produce wines of great smoothness and drinkability. In fact, the appellation 'Suasì' derives from the Piedmontese dialect term of the same name meaning 'chosen'.
Langhe Bianco Deltetto 'Suasì' is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes cultivated using sustainable practices, without the use of herbicides. Following the harvest, which is carried out by hand at a slightly early stage, the bunches are immediately transferred to the cellar and vinified using the white wine method, with soft pressing and subsequent alcoholic fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16 °C, aimed at preserving the aromatic heritage of the grapes. Once the fermentation process is complete, the wine matures in stainless steel for several months until final bottling.
On visual examination, Deltetto's 'Suasì' Langhe Bianco reveals a pale straw yellow colour. The nose is played on pleasant notes of pear, jasmine and exotic fruits such as passion fruit. In the mouth it is very drinkable and flowing thanks to its marked freshness and light body, elements that combine with good flavour and roundness in a dynamic development. This Chardonnay from Piedmont is an ideal accompaniment to seafood cuisine, especially hot or cold appetisers and mixed fried dishes. Also try it as a refreshing aperitif, perhaps to accompany various appetisers such as salmon canapés or butter and anchovy croutons.
