Chinon 'Cinq Elements' Domaine de L'R 2023

Domaine de L'R's Chinon 'Cinq Elements' is a wine of great balance, made from old Cabernet Franc vines planted on the ancient Vienne riverbed. Fine and elegant, fresh hints of red fruits such as raspberries and currants dominate the nose. The palate is characterised by silky and structured tannins, with a juicy mouthfeel of surprising persistence. This is a wine capable of long ageing, to be tried in combination with feathered game

When to open
To enjoy an artisanal wine at its best, we recommend you to let it 'breathe' at least 15-30 minutes before serving
When to drink
Wine good to drink now, but that can have a beautiful evolution after resting for a while in your cellar
Glass
Medium open goblet
Perfect for young and medium bodied red wines which don't require excessive oxygenation to open. The opening, slightly tighter than the body of the glass, favors the concentration of aromas towards the nose, enhancing the perception of aromas and limiting the dispersion
Longevity
You can let it rest in the cellar for more than 15 years
