DURELLO METODO CLASSICO DOSAGGIO ZERO RISERVA 'AD 13.21' MAGNUM GIANNITESSARI DESCRIPTION

Durello Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero 'AD 13.21' Riserva from the Venetian winery Giannitessari is a prestigious sparkling wine produced in a limited edition exclusively in magnum format, capable of standing out for its depth and organoleptic breadth. This original bubbly comes from the peculiar blend of two important vintages, 2013 and 2021, two vintage years of excellence also selected for their complementarity. In fact, the wording 'AD' stands for 'Double Vintage', with 2013 also representing the first year of official production for the Giannitessari winery, a reality named after its owner and oenologist: Gianni Tessari. Also absolutely innovative is the decision to use sealing wax in the bottle packaging, a novelty in the world of sparkling wines.

The Monti Lessini Durello Metodo Classico Giannitessari 'AD 13.21' Riserva Dosaggio Zero Magnum was made from 100% Durello grapes grown in the Lessini Mountains area. Following manual harvesting, the whole bunches were softly pressed, with the first alcoholic fermentation taking place at a controlled temperature. Foaming took place in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico, with ageing on the lees lasting 10 years for the 2013 vintage and around 24 months in the case of the 2021. Only after disgorging was the blend of the two vintages carried out, with the sparkling wine finally being marketed without any dosage inside an elegant wooden box specially made for the purpose.

Giannitessari Monti Lessini Durello Metodo Classico Riserva 'AD 13.21' Dosaggio Zero Magnum has a golden yellow colour with fine bubbles. The broad aromatic bouquet carries scents of white peach, grapefruit, pineapple, dried flowers and toasted hazelnut, enriched by hints of pastry and wet stone. The palate is rich and deep, creamy and full-bodied, with brilliant freshness lending impetus to the persistent and distinctly savoury finish.
