An ancient Roman grape variety, Fiano was called "Latino" to distinguish it from other varieties of Greek origin. It 'is a vine that does its best in the volcanic soils and in clay. From the best vineyards in the hills of Sorbo Serpico, Feudi di San Gregorio selected only the best grapes to make the Pietracalda, certainly their best expression of Fiano, a full-bodied, fresh wine perfect with seafood.
