Contadi Castaldi's Franciacorta Brut and Satèn is a box with a creamy, sparkling character containing two declinations of Contadi Castaldi Franciacorta: a classic Franciacorta Brut and a refined Franciacorta Brut Satèn. We are in the municipality of Adro, a small village located at the foot of Monte Alto, a relief that protects the area from cold northern winds and fog, contributing to the area's mild and temperate microclimate, ideal for viticulture. As evidence of the municipality's long winemaking tradition, three bunches of grapes are depicted in its coat of arms. Also very important is its proximity to Lake Iseo, a body of water just 6 kilometres away that helps to mitigate the climate.

Inside the Contadi Castaldi Franciacorta Brut and Satèn box is a bottle of Franciacorta Brut and a bottle of Franciacorta Brut Satèn signed Contadi Castaldi, two distinct expressions of the same terroir that stand out for their balance and pleasantness. In particular, Franciacorta Brut is produced from a blend of Chardonnay (80%), Pinot Nero (10%) and Pinot Bianco (10%) grapes vinified in white. The 20-26 months' rest on the lees that follows mousse setting contributes to the fragrant and balanced character of this sparkling wine, with excellent freshness and verticality. In contrast, Franciacorta Brut Satèn originates from pure Chardonnay grapes, with the sparkling wine undergoing at least 30-36 months of maturation on the lees before disgorging. This bubbly makes softness and creaminess its salient features, qualities that also derive from the lower atmospheric pressure in the bottle that characterises the Satèn type.
