FRANCIACORTA BRUT MONTINA DESCRIPTION

Brut Montina is a floral and fruity Franciacorta, characterized by a harmonious and lively mineral freshness, which makes it pleasant and immediate, suitable to be enjoyed on any occasion, starting from aperitif time. It is the wine that best defines the style of the winery, the result of a cuvée of several vintages, with a predominance of Chardonnay, aged on the lees for at least 30 months. A Franciacorta dedicated to those who love the Metodo Classico in its youthful expression, inspired by the basic concepts of elegance, versatility and ease of drinking, dear to the Cantina di Monticelli Brusati.

Franciacorta Brut Montina comes from a blend of Chardonnay (85 percent) and Pinot Noir (15 percent). The grapes come from numerous plots cultivated in seven different Franciacorta communes, each with different soil and microclimate characteristics, so that there is always a wide palette of choice of wines from the vintage, to which a percentage of wines from the previous vintage is also added, to create a balanced and harmonious Franciacorta every year. After harvesting, the grapes undergo double pressing, the first very soft with the Marmonier vertical press and the second with classic horizontal lung presses. After the white vinification of the base wines and their aging for a few months, the cuvée is created and drawn. The wine then rests on the lees for a minimum period of 30 months before dégorgement.

Franciacorta Brut is the ideal choice for those seeking an elegant, fresh Metodo Classico, marked by the crystalline purity of the fragrant floral and fruity notes typical of the type. In the glass, it is light straw yellow in color, with greenish reflections. The perlage is fine and persistent. The aromas are delicate with notes of white flowers, citrus aromas and fresh fruit with hints of bread crust. The sip is refreshing and savory, with delicate fruit and good finish persistence.
