Franciacorta Brut Magnum by Mosnel is a fresh and elegant sparkling wine, full of fruity and floral scents. After a maturation of 24 months on the lees in the bottle it expressed a harmonious and pleasant bouquet. The taste is refreshing, soft and velvety, very balanced and fine
The family Barboglio took over their historic estate in the mid-nineteenth century, but its present name, Il Mosnel, dates back to 1976 and is borrowed from a vineyard adjacent to company headquarters. The breakthrough, however, in 1980, when the winery has taken the historic decision to produce its Franciacorta with Classic Method. The Franciacorta Brut is a really traditional Franciacorta from Il Mosnel winery, with a nose subtle and elegant, combined with a very rich and intense palate. All the vineyards have been replanted in the nineties, bringing to 4.500 the number of plants per hectare and by changing the system of cordon. This Franciacorta Brut has the typical footprint of Il Mosnel winery: has a beautiful structure and a substantial energy, which give a great arc of evolution in the bottle. Thanks to this unique style Il Mosnel carved out a leading post in the scene of Franciacorta, finishing with a total value of quality labels.
