The Franciacorta Rosé by Tenuta Montenisa - Antinori is a Rosé Method Classic sparkling wine with a refined, enveloping and subtle taste. Matured in bottle on the lees for 24 months, it reveals a very subtle and delicate bouquet with aromas of strawberry, cherry, pomegranate and hints of pastry. On the palate it reveals a delicate, silky and creamy texture, in perfect balance between softness and freshness, giving a pleasant refreshing sensation
Tenuta Montenisa dei Marchesi Antinori's Franciacorta Rosé Brut is a Metodo Classico made from pure Pinot Nero grapes. The Rosé typology is the richest and most structured within the range of sparkling wines made with the Metodo Classico, the most gastronomic and suitable for accompanying even important pairings at the table. The 24-month maturation on the lees allows for an elegant evolution of the wine, which preserves the characteristic varietal aromas of this noble Burgundy grape. The delicate fruity aromas and floral nuances are accompanied by rich body and lively freshness.
Brut Rosé Franciacorta was born in the heart of this famous wine area, which lies south of Lake Iseo. The soils of ancient glacial origin are formed by moraine hills rich in pebbles, very suitable for quality wine growing. The sunny and mild climate, also due to the presence of the lake, allows excellent ripening of the grapes. The Tenuta Montenisa estate became part of the Marchesi Antinori property at the end of the 1990s, when the historic Tuscan family decided to invest in Franciacorta in order to expand the range of its wines to include Metodo Classico sparkling wines. The vineyards cover a total area of 60 hectares, divided into numerous parcels, cultivated with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. The great attention paid to the management of the vineyards allows excellent grapes to be obtained, an indispensable basis for making great Metodo Classici.
Tenuta Montenisa dei Marchesi Antinori's Rosé Brut is a pure Pinot Noir vinified in rosé with brief contact on the skins in the press. The flower must ferments in stainless steel tanks and after a brief maturation, the base wines are blended into the definitive cuvée. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico, with a minimum of 24 months' rest on the lees. The colour is light pink, with a fine, continuous perlage. The bouquet expresses delicate notes of small red berries, floral nuances, hints of citrus, pomegranate, hints of bread crust and fruit tart. The palate has a good structure, with an expressive and juicy centre of mouth. The finish is long and very fresh.
