FRANCIACORTA BRUT SATEN CA' DE PAZZI DESCRIPTION

Franciacorta Satèn originates from the innovative and contemporary spirit of Ca' de Pazzi, a very young winery that wants to expand the boundaries of Lombardy sparkling wine by appealing to an ever-growing young audience. The aromatic profile is delicate, while the perlage is lively, giving body to an original Satèn, full of charm, that has no difficulty in being appreciated by all lovers of bubbles. A real gem churned out by a newborn production reality, to be tasted in order to keep up to date with the most interesting novelties on the Italian wine scene.

This Brut Satèn Franciacorta signed by the Ca' de Pazzi winery is the result of the pure use of a great international white grape variety, Chardonnay. The grapes are harvested strictly by hand, and the bunches after the harvest are transferred to the winemaking facilities. Here, after destemming, the grapes are softly pressed, and the first fermentation, the alcoholic fermentation, takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Secondary fermentation then takes place in the bottle, following the Metodo Classico production principles, and the sparkling wine remains to mature on its lees for a minimum of 24 months.

Ca' de Pazzi 's Franciacorta Satèn announces itself to the eye with a straw-yellow colour, crossed by a row of bubbles and continuous effervescence, characterised by a fine, never coarse grain. The nose is teeming with subtle sensations, which interact with each other, highlighting refreshing touches where citrus fruits in particular are most consistently perceived, later giving way to nuances of sweet spices. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a soft, pleasant sip, from which emerges a fresh taste that encourages repeated drinking. A label with which the Ca' De Pazzi winery blends finesse, verve and elegance, in a 100% Chardonnay that makes aperitif time a truly unmissable appointment!
