FRANCIACORTA SATEN LANTIERI DE PARATICO DESCRIPTION

Lantieri de Paratico's Franciacorta Satèn is the label that expresses, in its absolute purity, the elegance of Chardonnay. This Blanc des Blancs from Franciacorta, thanks to grapes of excellent quality and a particularly fine and delicate perlage, typical of this type of Metodo Classico, which is inspired by the French Crémants, reveals a character of great finesse, which plays on refined floral notes and fruity fragrance, enhanced by hints of evolution deriving from the time spent on yeasts. A bottle dedicated to those who prefer a smooth sip, accompanied by a limpid mineral freshness, the distinctive feature of Franciacorta wines.

Lantieri de Paratico's Satèn Franciacorta is the fruit of the work of a winery created in the 1970s, at a time when the Brescia area was beginning to establish itself as the cradle of the Italian Metodo Classico. The estate extends over some twenty hectares, divided into numerous parcels, located mainly in the communal territories of Capriolo and Adro. The vineyards occupy sunny hilly areas, characterised by soils of morainic origin, generated by the retreat of an Alpine glacier. The climate is also tempered by the presence of the Lake Iseo basin, which helps to soften temperatures, allowing excellent ripening. The Chardonnay grapes are gently pressed and the free-run must ferments in temperature-controlled steel tanks. After six months of maturation on the lees, the base wines are blended. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico with a 24-30 month maturation sur lattes.

The Metodo Classico Franciacorta Satèn, from the Franciacorta wine cellar Lantieri de Paratico, seduces the eye with a brilliant straw yellow colour with golden reflections and a very fine and delicate perlage. The bouquet offers aromas of orange blossom and white flowers, lime zest, fragrances of ripe citrus fruits, aromas of ripe white-fleshed fruit and nuances of medicinal herbs. Lively and clear, it offers a pleasantly intense and creamy fruity sip that anticipates a harmonious, fresh and savoury finish. Due to its finesse, it is particularly suitable to be enjoyed as an aperitif, with seafood or vegetable hors d'oeuvres.
