Ronc Plat's Friulano captures the authentic essence of the Colli Orientali, maturing and vinified in used wooden barrels. Coming from two small plots of land facing north-east, it offers a floral and citrus bouquet, enriched by salty and toasty notes. Its body is balanced and flowing, with an energetic structure that enhances its personality.

Friuli Colli Orientali Ronc Platat Friulano is an interpretation of the territory characterized by enticing salt and almond hints. The area of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, located on the eastern border of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, is one of the leading wine regions in the region, where some of the best white wines from Friuli are produced. The characteristics of the territory and the cultivated vines are very similar to those of the nearby Collio, with the autochthonous Friulano being the most important variety. It is in this territory that in 2021 Tommaso Zanuttini officially started his project, precisely in San Giovanni al Natisone.
The Friulano Ronc Platat Colli Orientali del Friuli is made from pure Friulano grapes coming from two distinct ancient vineyards: 'Il Conte', located near the Abbey of Rosazzo, and 'Pavoni', in dialect "Paon", on Rocca Bernarda. The plants benefit from the cool exposure to the north-east and the sustainable agronomic management applied by Tommaso. The harvest is carried out by hand and the grapes are then vinified in white through soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation of the must in wooden barrels, without subsequent malolactic fermentation, in order to preserve the maximum freshness of the wine. The ageing phase takes place in old oak barrels for a period of 9 months before final bottling.
Friuli Colli Orientali Friulano from the Ronc Platat winery is straw yellow with golden reflections. The aromatic bouquet is defined by sweet floral sensations that blend with hints of lime and almond, with light spicy hints and salty nuances. The taste is balanced and refreshing, with good body and a rich but drinkable progression that rests on a final almond characteristic of the vine.
