Gin 'Neve' Terrae

Italian producer Gin Terrae presents 'Neve' Gin, a limited edition distilled spirit that evokes the magnificent landscapes of the Dolomites. Giovanni Campari is the founder of the Gin Terrae project, which began in 2021 as a craft, independent, and itinerant distillery offering three different premium gins capable of evoking equally fascinating Italian territories, from the Alps to the Mediterranean coast. Among these, 'Neve' Gin was created in collaboration with Marco Pozzali, a sommelier and friend of Giovanni, who grew up in the mountains of Cadore. The mountain itself is the element that 'Neve' Gin recalls, thanks to a selection of fine botanicals carefully handpicked in the Dolomite forests.

Gin Terrae 'Neve' Gin, therefore, derives from a careful selection of botanicals handpicked in the Dolomites, such as mountain pine, masterwort, gentian, yarrow, and birch, in addition to the essential juniper. All these ingredients are processed according to the London Dry style, which involves the distillation of an infusion of alcohol and botanicals in traditional pot stills or in a steam current, without the use of artificial flavors. In particular, for the distillation process, which takes place in small batches, a 250-liter copper pot still is used. Finally, the gin is packaged in a bottle designed by the Gin Terrae team and produced with 100% recycled Italian craft paper and glass. Additionally, each bottle is hand-stamped and numbered.

Gin Terrae's 'Neve' Gin has a transparent and crystalline appearance. On the nose, irresistible balsamic sensations of pine bark, alpine herbs, and resin emerge, enriched by mineral hints of Dolomite rock. The taste is clear, balsamic, and intense, characterized by returns of mountain pine resin.
