GRAPPA DI MOSCATO ORO 'CLEOPATRA' JACOPO POLI DESCRIPTION

"Cleopatra" is a Gold Muscat Grappa that reveals how the spirit of the Jacopo Poli distillery is always aimed at innovation, concretized, but always starting from ancient knowledge. That's right, because this label is distilled using a special, bain-marie still, which takes inspiration from the first still ever made, dating back to Ancient Egyptian times. This new instrument, called Crysopea, helps to give this "Cleopatra" Grappa a great aromatic cleanness and extreme finesse, characteristics that are not always easy to find in a distillate.

Grappa di Moscato Oro "Cleopatra" is made from a careful selection of Moscato Fior d'Arancio and Moscato Bianco pomace from the Euganean Hills. The distillation uses an innovative copper still, which works in a bain-marie under a vacuum, inspired by the first still in history, called Crysopea, created by the alchemist Cleopatra in Ancient Egypt to distil gold. This instrument makes it possible to greatly enhance the floral and fruity aromas and to obtain a refined and seductive final product. Once the distillation is finished, the Grappa is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

"Cleopatra" is a Gold Muscat Grappa that, in the glass, presents itself with a light and delicate colour, recalling the golden hue. Very interesting is the set of scents that develops on the nose, in which there are mainly floral and fruity notes, enriched by light sensations that bring back to pastry. On the palate, it is subtle and delicate, with a harmonious and creamy sip where nothing is out of place. A bottle with which the Jacopo Poli distillery confirms its craftsmanship in making excellent Grappas, which helps bring the value of "made in Italy" around the world.
