This "K White" from Cantina di Caldaro Kaltern is created from a blend of international white grape varieties that adapt well to the climatic and territorial characteristics of Alto Adige: Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon. The vines of these three varieties are approximately 5-10 years old and have their roots in a calcareous and clayey subsoil located at around 450-600 meters above sea level. The clusters are harvested only when fully ripe and are pressed whole, without destemming. Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees Celsius in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures in these containers for 4 months, remaining on the fine lees.
The "K White" white wine from Cantina di Caldaro Kaltern reveals itself in the glass with a straw yellow colour, bordered by more greenish reflections. The olfactory examination initially highlights fruity notes, including tropical fruit, enriched by light balsamic sensations. On the palate, it is light-bodied and slender, characterized by a fresh sip and an aromatic final aftertaste. Quality and a good price: it's often not easy to find both in a bottle, but in this case, "K Weiss" fully achieves the goal. Try it to believe it.
