LAGREIN RISERVA 'GRIES' CANTINA TERLANO 2021 DESCRIPTION

Lagrein Riserva "Gries" by Cantina Terlano is a wine of perfect workmanship and well-defined in varietal characteristics. This historic cooperative, founded in 1893, counts about 150 members and always produces excellent wines, that can be appreciated at the national level; in particular, the tradition of wine in Terlano, dates back over 2000 years ago. It’s predisposition for the cultivation of the vine it can be found in the mild climate, which accompanies the ripening of the grapes giving it a unique flavor, and its location: situated on the slopes of Mount Tschöggel, with an ideal environment, where the porphyry stores heat and the porous sandstone allows water to flow into the ground, keeping the soil dry in contact with the roots. Everything is managed, of course, with a strict and effective classification scheme of the plots. These devices allow the winery to obtain wines of great depth and quality. The Lagrein "Gries" is a wine that deserves great attention, a wine full-bodied and robust, capable of striking for its elegance and personality.
